"Back home, after a fabulous week at Paint Andalucia. Just want to send huge thanks for your wonderful hospitality. The whole week was so well planned and went a long way in making a solo traveler feel at ease. All the meals were fabulous but especially at Casa Maria…thank you! I received such a warm welcome from you on arrival and felt so comfortable and at home throughout my stay, honestly I cannot thank you enough! I really enjoyed the painting tuition too and after many years of not painting I now feel energised to continue! Hope it won’t be long before I return to Paint Andalucia and will without doubt, recommend you to my friends. Best wishes to you both." Denise. June 2019.

I can be found in the Who’s Who of Art. I am also a qualified tutor and have been teaching art at all levels since 1994.”

Bernadette Bradley
“From early days growing up in Northern Ireland, attending art college in 1976 I have persisted on my visual journey, undertaking a variety of large scale public and private painting commissions, tutoring cross- border and community projects.
In my own art practice I link with the ‘Romantics’ referencing the language of Dylan Thomas, and Yeats and epic music as a catalyst for much of my work. Ongoing conscious and subconscious dialogues and dilemma of one’s mortality and the human condition, drive much of my art-making.
For me, travel, poetry, music and dreams are pointers to the invisible world of the spirit inspiring and informing a visual dialogue. Artistic maturity has involved me on a diversity of artistic exploration, embracing conceptual thinking through a variety of mediums. Experimenting across the genres, I delve into film, performance, installation and sculpture to tackle themes requiring a different approach. Prevailing concerns continue to inform my visual response to the tangible and unseen world. Media saturation, and subsequent alienation, injustices, addiction and themes of societal malaise preoccupy my thinking…
I believe my task as an artist is to be radial and authentic, and to create reflective interventionist art.”
Bernadette is joining the Paint Andalucia team for 2025 onwards.
Frances May Tappenden.
