‘ I enjoyed the accommodation in the hotel Al Andalus and Astrid, the owner was lovely. The rooms are airy and have air conditioning. I loved the others in the group, our hosts Paul and Victoria, and our tutor Dawn was a star! I am a total beginner and was astounded at what i achieved after only a few days of expert tuition.

I have had lots of fabulous adventure holidays in the past but this has been the best holiday ever!’

“The holiday was a lovely experience all round, and it has certainly helped me to overcome my fear of the white page.   When you are seated in front of a view, you have no choice but to paint.   Furthermore, it was nice painting outside, rather than confined to a studio.  Some potential painters will fear this.  I feared it.    But a large dose of daily  “en plein air” painting has cured me.  The tutor’s job is not easy – they have to deal with a range of abilities and attitudes.  Some welcome support like me, and others just want the occasional pointer.  All in all, for me, the holiday absolutely delivered what I wanted to achieve painting wise. But the holiday was so much more than a painting break.   Torrox Pueblo, the days out, and the food, all helped to make a nice holiday into a great one.  I enjoyed the “ Spanishness” of our stay, and your emphasis on Spanish food via the restaurants and your lovely cooking.   It was such a treat and we were very lucky to be part of a very friendly and funny group of ladies – we hit the jackpot there! 

I had a really good time, and would definitely recommend you to a friend and consider returning again.  You are a lovely couple, work well together, and are clearly committed to giving your customers a holiday to remember.

We haven’t laughed so much in a long time, and we hope that we can continue some of the friendships formed.
